Kenya Bio-Diesel Association
The Kenya Bio-diesel Association is a non profit organization formed to facilitate the establishment of a viable bio-diesel industry in Kenya. Its mission is to promote sustainable production and use of bio-diesel in Kenya, provide information and expertise to all stakeholders in private, governmental and educational institutions who are interested in bio- diesel and promote public awareness of it advantages. The Association will play a leading role in development and implementation of standards for the bio-diesel industry as well as nurture a business environment conducive to the development of a vibrant bio-diesel industry.
The Association has been formed under the umbrella of the Ministry of Energy and involves various members drawn from private to government agencies dealing with bio-fuel production in Kenya.
