Projects > Fish Farming

fish arming

The Foundation encourages all green Africa villages to practice fish farming depending on their location. We offer trainings on fish farming either as an independent unit or as part of integrated fish-poultry-vegetable system whereby the poultry manure is shed directly into the fishpond as fertilizer and supports the growth of photosynthetic organisms

Through fish farming, communities have shifted from environmental degrading practices thus conserving the available natural resources. In addition, there has been diversification of diet within the Green Africa villages promoting healthy lifestyles and improved livelihoods.
